I GOT MY WORLDS TICKETS!

I'M SO EXCITED....and I just can't hide it..etc.

I have not been to a gymnastics competition before. Squinting at the plan to try to decipher the best seats was tough. I am by the vault for the AA and EF Day 1, nice view of everything else. Day 2 is beam and floor, I'm sort of by beam for that but higher up. Oh and my boyfriend offered to come with me AND go to every competition, so yay. Total cost is €135 each for tickets for the 3 days. I think that's good! Flights are about €130 each return. And I just found the most perfect hotel, for €80 each for the 2 nights. Soo..total cost is €345! (Or $456!) Excellent. I'm thrilled with that :D

  3. Lol you SHOULD feel this excited! (: Much better than any competition the U.S. can host these days.. not worth my time/money at all if I can't see Russia & China.

Also 345 euros= $456? Lol where have i been?? It was almost 1 euro= $2 when I vacationed in Europe in 2006 and I've just assumed it was the same conversion since.

Are you watching PT & prelims, too? :)

    1. At one stage, it was $-€1! The euro got artifically strong and then of course nosedived. Still not a bad rate considering.

Nah, there is a good deal for the week but I'm not keen on being there that long. Now if Dublin hosted it I wouldn't leave the arena. We've no sway or even real presence in FIG though. Hmm. But Glasgow 2015 is even less than an hour's flight..Antwerp is about 1 and a half hour to Brussels then a train. Screw 2014 and 2016, too far!
