If you're wondering where Olivia Cimpian, Jordan Chiles, Ariana Agrapides etc. are...they are not eligible for senior competition this quad, they're too young.

Girls in italics are either inactive/retired, more than likely retired or highly unlikely to return to elite. This list is not exhaustive.

  1. Lou Nina from China seems to be the only junior turning senior next year.

Mei Jie, also from China, will turn senior in 2015.

    1. Thank you! Much harder to find info on them. I think I heard a while ago that Lou Nina will turn senior next year but most people qualify birth year statements by saying it's not 100% certain..

  3. My god... This article has succeeded in making me feel old. I was in high school when all of these kids were born. Thirty never felt so old...

    1. I'm the same age as most of the 2004 Olympians myself. It definitely makes me feel old when I remember that they are long gone, and so are quite a lot of the 08 girls..

    2. same here. if i were ever an elite gymnast, i would have been in the 2004 olympian cohort which makes me feel OLD. i can't believe i had a good ten years over most of the fierce five.

    1. Oops, missed this. It means that they are new additions, generally unknowns, so are worth checking out!

  5. Brazil has Lorrane Santos as a new senior for 2014 (she has an amazing floor routine).
For 2015, we also have Flávia Saraiva. For 2016 our best gymnasts are Tamires Veiga and Carolyne Pedro.

  8. Great ideas indeed! However, if you are looking for Fitness training for kids in Delhi and NCR you should definitely check out curioboat website. They have partnered with sportybeans and they offer various multi sport programs such as football, cricket, basketball classes for kids to name a few! If you want a holistic development of your kid you should definitely visit them.
